Blogging Reflection SBC8
I had fun with the blogging challenge. I had the most fun when my mom was able to help me. We have decided that we are going to start our own blog together.
Our blog will be about entertainment. I will cover gaming, technology, and photography. My mom will write about books and trivia. Then we will tie them together. I could write about my favorite book, Bendy. My mom can write about her favorite video game that is Trivial Pursuit. We can also write about all the times we went to Disneyland together. I think it will be a good blog.
My birthday is almost here WP7
My birthday is on Sunday, May 10. That is also Mother’s Day. I think I was a good gift to my mom. This is our favorite song. It is called Tell It To My Heart by a singer named Taylor Dayne. It is from the 1980s which is a long time ago. We always play this song on my birthday because it is happy and fun to dance to. I hope that you like this song. Because we have to stay at home, I can’t go to Universal Studios like I did last year but maybe when they open up again I can go. It will be a good birthday with gifts and cake I hope.
My School Days Now WP6
My school day is really different now that we stay home. The biggest difference is my mom is now my teacher, and she gets all her help from my school teachers online. I also get my work from my teachers online.
I now get up at 8:00 a.m. I take a shower, get dressed, and have breakfast like normal. Then my mom and I go upstairs to our homeschool room and we do work from 9:00 a.m. to noon. We do science, PE, math, language arts, history, and tech. For example we are reading “The Outsiders” and I am beginning to learn algebra. Once a week my grandma teaches me music appreciation. My family also plays Trivial Pursuit together and my mom and I watch a lot of documentaries. We watch one about the Bronx Zoo and there is one on how things are made.
It is different to not have teachers or see friends but I like spending time with my grandma in music class that I don’t have at my real school and that I get to watch videos on biodiversity and food.
My School Day Before Quarantine SBC6
My school day begins when my alarm goes off at 6:00 a.m. I get out of bed, take a shower, get dressed, and then I eat breakfast. My alarm goes off again at 6:45 for me to wait for the bus. When I get to school I go to my 1st period class which is Team. 2nd period is Science, 3rd period is P.E. And then I have a break when I eat a snack. Then i go to 4th period which is math. And then 5th period which is language arts. Then I go to lunch my favorite lunch is lasagna. 6th period is RSP which is an extra helping class, 7th period is technology and it is my favorite class. After tech, I go wait for the bus at my aide’s class. Then the bus comes to take me home and my school day is over.
Fortnite Tips WP5
My favorite video game is Fortnite. I have been playing Fortnite for two years. In this game, you can explore, have battles, collect items, dance, and make new friends all around the world.
It might not be easy for everyone to play. My mom is not good at Fortnite. So I try to give her help. Here are the ways I have tried to help her be a better player.
First, it is good to watch YouTube videos from Fortnite’s channel. Then if you have more questions you can go to the Fortnite website support page.
Sometimes my mom gets the buttons on the controller confused so I try to help her figure out what button does what. If you memorize the buttons it is easier.
My best tip is that you just have to practice a lot and pretty soon you can win the Battle Royale.
Plastic is bad for the oceans but we can help save it SBC5
Plastic is the most common pollutant that is found in the ocean. It touches my heart because it harms ocean plants and animals.
The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a swirl of bath toys, plastic bottles, straws, plastic bags, and other pollutants in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Wikipedia says that it is 1.6 million square kilometers big. This comes from humans not throwing their trash away in the right place. Fish, turtles, dolphins, and birds have gotten caught in this mess and have died.
If humans did a better job when they throw away their trash, we could save many animals and plants and have clean water for everyone around the world. My name is AJ and i go to middle school and i do like subjects in schools i live in califorina i dont have a dad and grandpa well my grandpa passed away in april 12 2019 he told me that math that im going to do he told me i need to be smart and alone. Over the weekend i’m going to play Xbox one with my friends to play with when i get board. i’m going to watch YouTube on my Xbox and phone. and that’s my break what i’m going to do.
